Assalammualaikum.

Lama dah melawat 'rumah' ni. Mujur la tak bersawang sangat (ye la tu, dah dekat setahun, agak-agak la kan 😜)

So, hari ni, pembuka bicara, nak bagi resepi biskut chocolate tanpa telur dan butter. Mesti ada yang tanya, apa la rasanya kan? Well, masa Along jumpa resepi ni pun, itulah soalan pertama. Tapi bila dah cuba, terkejut sebab rasanya  tak ada kekurangan apa2 pun. Bahagian dalam biskut ni sgt chewy, dengan bahagian luar sedikit rangup. Kalau nak tambah chocolate chip or kacang, boleh jer.

Since bahan-bahan nak buat biskut ni memang stok asas yang ada kat rumah, percaya tak if Along bagi tau yang kos nak buat biskut ni tak sampai pun RM 4 untuk 35-40 keping biskut. Bak kata aruah nenek Along, muai la sangat. 

Nak bagi amaran yer, biskut ni, if dah makan satu tak bleh berhenti. So sapa-sapa yg tgh diet tu, hati-hati yer (ah, Along pun diet, but belasah je).

So, malas nak cakap banyak lagi, ni resepi kat bawah ni.




Bahan-bahan:

1 3/4 cwn tepung gandum
2/3 cwn gula
2 sudu kecil baking powder
1 sudu kecil garam
1/4 cwn serbuk koko
1 sudu kecil esen vanilla 
1/2 cwn minyak kelapa
1/4 cwn air suam

Cara-cara:

1. Panaskan oven pada suhu 180 C.

2. Campurkan sebati tepung, serbuk koko,baking powder dan garam ke dalam mangkuk. Asingkan.

3. Dalam mangkuk yang lain, campurkan gula, esen vanilla, minyak dan air. Kacau sehingga gula agak larut.

4. Kemudian, buat bulatan di tengah-tengah campuran tepung. Tuangkan campuran gula tadi. Gaul hingga sebati.

5. Bulatkan adunan sebesar duit 50 sen lama. Leperkan tapi jgn terlalu nipis (anggaran 0.5 cm). Buat sehingga habis.

6. Bakar selama 8-10 minit. Bahagian tengah biskut masih sedikit lembut. Jangan risau kerana biskut akan terus masak semasa menyejuk.

7. Tunggu sejuk sebentar sebelum dipindah ke rak penyejuk. ( Tapi, if nak makan sekarang, boleh jer 😊).

Yes, I am 39!

Yesterday, was my my 39th birthday. Yes, another year gone by. One more year to my big 4.

How I spent my birthday? Well, I make a big plate of nasi goreng cili padi extra PEDAS for my breakfast, eating it in solitude while watching tv, start on making sugar flower for a wedding cake, doing research for my next project and reminiscing in between.

As I was enjoying my nasi goreng, I thought of how birthday have become insignificant to me. Do not get me wrong,I am thankful for been given another day, another year to live, it just not as important as it used to be.

Last year, I talked about friend and foe. This year l learned who can you actually called friend and there is no foe, just someone who do not share same opinion as yours.

I talked about my family last year as well. Well, I am even more thankful this year to have a 'not-so-perfect-but-will-not-trade-for-any-other' family.

This year I am taking a big leap in my life. I pray that next year, I can post on how wonderful the journey is.

Thank you, my Family & Friends for all the best wishes that I shall carry for another year to come. Thank you for spending part of your time to think of me in your doa'.

Syukur alhamdulillah, I am blessed indeed !

Congrats Amy!

I have a lot of cousins. One is about my age, the rest ranging from 7 - 30 years. . Yes, I am old, will hit the big 4 in couple of years. One by one, is getting married.

This coming Saturday a cousin on my late Abah's side, Amy is getting engage to the love of her life, Mursyid. Initially, I promised her a cheese tart but due to unforeseen circumstances, logistic mostly, I had to change it to cupcake instead.











This a basic vanilla cupcake that I find suit my 'tekak'. I often used it as a based for if i have to prepare any other cake,

Baking the cake and prep it for decorating process is rather easy until i need to decorate it. Usually I have a theme but yesterday, my mind went totally blank.

One thing that I learned about cake decorating is, you CANNOT force it. You have to let it flow. Play with fondant, toyed with any idea that come to mind. And one thing that I learned about myself, i can only decorate cake when I am alone, at night, after 10pm.

Then, finally at exactly 11.05pm, BOOM! It came. It only took me three hours to plan and individually decorate all 25 cupcakes.

So Amy, I hope you like it. I really enjoyed doing it.. Congrats babe! 💋💋

You are Four, Amirah !

Order dr rakan sepejabat untuk birthday k-4. Theme color- pink for a girly girl.











This cupcake is a basic vanilla cake, pinkish inside,filled with mini m&m and mild strawberry taste.

No buttercream since this cupcake will have to travel long distance, so i replace it with fondant. Pasta machine really helps when you deal with fondant.










I hope both Mama n Amirah will be happy on how this cupcake look and taste.
